Our Murrieta dealership is excited to share all the information we have about the Volkswagen ID. Buzz! As one of the most highly anticipated models, the successor to the VW Bus is shaping up to be a model we know many drivers will love. With a good-natured design that uses animal-free upholstery, recycled plastics, and cobalt-free batteries to avoid supporting unethical mining practices, the VW ID. Buzz is created in the same spirit we would expect from the original bus.

The Americanized version of the ID. Buzz has only had a few details shared, but we can draw a general idea of what it will have based on the European version. We want to show you the spacious cabin, futuristic yet familiar design, and power options to ensure you can see what makes this the right model for you.

An Interior to Suit the Needs of Any Driver

A wide range of interior options help the upcoming ID. Buzz feel right for any commute, errand, or road trip. The range of options can provide a maximum of 135 cubic feet of cargo space to prioritize space for gear or equipment. When the seats aren't folded, you can slide them around to find the perfect position. Front seats have many storage spaces for small items and a removable center console to accommodate your needs.

Large screens span the dash to show relevant information for your drive. The digital instrument cluster measures ten inches, while the infotainment screen can be ten or twelve inches. The responsive system makes tapping through menus a breeze, allowing you to find or change nearly any setting.

A New Look with a Traditional Spirit

There is no denying the futuristic look of the ID. Buzz, but it has features that remind us of the original Volkswagen Bus. The two-tone paint options and large panels of windows are the boldest lines drawn between generations, but sleek lightbars and the diamond-pattern grille are new additions we love. The curving front fascia isn't as harsh as the sharp lines of the original VW Bus, allowing the ID. Buzz to feel a little more elegant.

The ID. Buzz is expected to have two styles: a passenger van and a cargo van. The passenger van will have a hatchback to load the gear and large LED taillights. The ID. Buzz Cargo will come with available split-opening barn doors. Both models will feature the bold, statement-making VW logo on the front and rear.

The ID. Buzz is designed for road trips and adventures, which means it needs the power to keep the driver entertained. The ID. Buzz comes standard with a rear-mounted motor that produces just over 200 horsepower, but an additional motor can be added for all-wheel drive and up to 295 horsepower.

We only have minor details about the battery and range of the ID. Buzz. It currently has a 280-mile EPA range rating, but we expect the range to be nearly 270 miles. The peak charging rate has been confirmed at 170kW, meaning you can go from five percent to eighty percent in as little as thirty minutes!
